AT&T Stadium
AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas — famously known as 'Jerry World' after Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones — is one of the most recognizable sports venues in the world. The retractable roof and massive glass doors create an indoor-outdoor experience that can adapt to Texas's unpredictable summer weather, while the 80,000-seat capacity can expand to over 100,000 for special events. For World Cup 2026, AT&T Stadium will host multiple matches including a semi-final, making it one of the most important venues of the tournament. The stadium's central location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex provides access to one of America's fastest-growing and most football-passionate regions.
Stadium History
Opened in 2009, AT&T Stadium hosted Super Bowl XLV in 2011 (notorious for a seating fiasco that left hundreds of ticket holders without seats), the 2014 NCAA Final Four, and the first College Football Playoff National Championship in 2015. It has hosted numerous international soccer matches, CONCACAF Gold Cup finals, and is a regular stop for European clubs on US summer tours. The Cowboys' training facility, The Star, is located nearby in Frisco.
